The Monument Hill Foundation, the granting arm of the Monument Hill Kiwanis Club, has an annual granting program. Our 'call' period when application will be accepted for consideration is April 1 through June 30. Grants will be distributed starting in October through the following year as funds become available.
To apply for a grant, please click the 'grant request' button below to open a PDF-based form which can be easily downloaded to your computer. The form is set up to allow you to download it to your computer, fill it out, save while renaming the result (with your organization's name as requestor), and email it to our Grants Committee at:

The Grant Request should include a concise statement on a separate sheet if necessary describing the project and how funds will be used in compliance with our foundation mission -- supporting youth and the community, with a particular focus on the Tri-Lakes Community of northern El Paso County, Colorado. Include the following, as applicable:
1. When are the funds needed and why (how do the funds support foundation mission)?
2. Have you requested other funds from other sources?
3. What is the impact if we are only able to partially fund your request?
4. How will you publically acknowledge funds received from the Monument Hill Foundation?
5. Any other information you deem pertinent to our understanding of your request.
Include the following documents:
1. Documentation of Organization 501(c)(3) status
2. Documentation describing organization activities and geographical area of operations
3. List of Corporate Officers
4. % of budget spent on fundraising and administative (from most recent 990 if available)
The Committee will consider your request in light of other requests we receive, process those selected for inclusion in our plan, and notify you of the result. Please understand that grant requests each year, all usually very worthy, normally add up to far more than we can support.
