The Kiwanis Club of Monument Hill

Kiwanis International

Kiwanis is one of a very few service organizations that span the globe.  Its ‘communities’ are everywhere; and the organization is widely recognized for its embracive construct for ‘building’ and ‘repairing’ its community, with special attention to its younger members, one at a time – from a well-defined guiding philosophy to effective action.  Monument Hill members are proud to be a part of this incredible organization.  And we list below a few website pages that can be of help both to those interested in joining our ranks or to our members seeking tools for service.

Kiwanis Member Page

Service begins at ‘home’; and so we highlight the Kiwanis International Home Page for membership resources – the starting point for prospective members and Kiwanians alike.

Since 1924, the Kiwanis philosophy has been and is embodied in its six Objects. They stand to this day defining our purpose and guiding our efforts.

To give primacy to the human and spiritual rather than to the material values of life.
To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.
To promote the adoption and the application of higher social, business and professional standards.
To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive and serviceable citizenship.
To provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service and to build better communities.
To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism and goodwill.

A prime reason we value Kiwanis is its focus on youth leadership development.  If you have an interest in helping develop and guide the ‘next generation’, from pre-school to college, and beyond, Kiwanis is the place to be!   Top of Page

Kiwanis has a worldwide reach.  If you are interested in locating a club anywhere in the world, check out this directory page.

Unlike many service organizations, major organizational subdivisions in Kiwanis – the Districts – provide extensive resources to clubs and members, along with the resources derived from our parent -- Kiwanis International -  Check out the site of our Rocky Mountain District -

Monument Hill Kiwanis is in the Pikes Peak Division 4 of the Rocky Mountain District along with five other clubs.  Please click here to survey our neighboring clubs.  If you have an interest in visiting or joining any one of them, you can make contact through our contact page.

Kiwanis offers many opportunities for service, and many ways to pay for it.  The Rocky Mountain District, for example, operates a foundation which can provide funds for worthy projects, as well as philanthropic opportunities for individuals and Clubs within the district.   Top of Page

And so, too, does Kiwanis International.

Kiwanians are proud of their organization and their heritage.  And there are many ways to show it.  Official Kiwanis gear is available at this site.  Check it out!

Finally, Kiwanis offers a number of downloads to make life easier for Club operations and administration.  Club secretaries, in particular, can benefit from using them.  Many can be obtained through this site
